To be on the shores of Lake Champlain in June is a treat, but for jazz lovers it's a must! For 10 days in early June, "world-renowned artists and local musicians" come to this city in the Green Mountain State to play in various venues from the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts to stages along Church Street Marketplace to tents set up along the shores of Lake Champlain. Celebrating its 24th year, the festival, put on by the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and Burlington City Arts, is the largest multicultural event in Vermont--thanks to support from local businesses and private donations.
